What kind of stethoscope is everyone getting? I'm trying to see if I can find a good deal on Amazon.

For those already in the program, Which sequence has the better schedule, sequence 1 or sequence 2?

Guys does anyone know this answer? Anyone going to Homestead? I've been looking ahead at the class options and they're somewhat confusing.. any advise?

The schedule is very similar for both sequences what changes the most are the times for clinicals.

Hi everyone! I'm currently in the AO program- finishing in December. I definitely suggest to NOT buy the uniforms at the bookstore. I bought mine across the street at Blue Angels and you can barely tell the difference and honestly no one will look closely at your uniforms. I was able to find green tops and pants that actually fit properly and most importantly at a much cheaper price. They have different models and sizes. I bought the clinical white top as is from them and had them add the MDC logo to the green tops i chose. Probably would've spent double if not more if I had bought scrubs at the bookstore. I will say that they took long on actually getting the logo part done, about 2-3 weeks. I don't know if it was a one time thing with holidays in december, but just in case go ahead of time and place your orders as they might not have too much stock in store for MDC scrubs.

How much are the uniforms at Blue Angels? The nursing department administrator said they don't want mixing of the pieces. It had to be hunter green. The bookstore has a special of $105 for two green pants, a green top and a white clinical top. I bought mine at the bookstore.

Last year I got 3 green pants, 2 clinical white tops, and 2 green tops for about $145. I know the clinical tops were the priciest at $30 each. They say all that because they want you to purchase everything at school. As long as your hunter green top and bottom don't look off and match you'll be fine.

Has anyone's status on MyMDC under "My Academics" ---> "My Program" changed since submitting your acceptance form, becoming compliant on Complio and attending orientation? Or does it still say "PreSelect?"

My orientation was July 11th and I have been complaint since the same day. I was able to register for classes the next week at Medical Campus but it says Preparation - Nursing, RN-Generic (PreS)" for me though when I log in.

Were you able to register for classes on your own or did you have an advisor help you to register? They told Transitional/Bridge Full Time and Online students at orientation that we could register this Wednesday. I'm worried that when I log on & try to register tomorrow from home it won't let me. I was compliant before orientation. I've already paid the acceptance deposit and submitted my response form before the date mentioned in the email.
