MDC new requirements Spring 2011

Is anyone here going for Mami Dade College ASN program for Spring 2011. they have new requirements, TEAS test and gpa based SOLELY on natural science gpa

the science gpa will be all anatomy, micro lecture, and chem lect + lab. wanted to know what the applicant pool numbers were looking like!

What option did everyone apply to?

thank you @navycorpsman and @ssmith.. im really exited to start too.. in case you guys were wondering, i spoke with the nursing department and they said i can turn in everythin cuz they know that the background screening is taking long so they are accepting the print out of the paid mdc background screening appointment.. thats a good news.. made me really happy =).. well see you guys on thursday! =D good luck with everything

I did by background check yesterday. Today I got my Background check confirmation already stating its completed! I guess it does not take a week long. See you guys tomorrow.

I do not know. It should state the date for your orientation on your acceptance letter. All i know the generic full-time is tomorrow. You should call the school of nursing.

thank you all for your input... after sprING TERM I'm going to have a 3.7.... just took a diagnostic teas test from McGraw Hill's Nursing Entrance Exam Book and scored an 86%.... i'm gonna study up some more and go into Dade and take this bad boy lol

Does anyone know what the accepting GPA for Spring 2011 is? I know last semester it was 3.81. It appears it has gone down this semester? Thank you.:)

Its 3.875. That's from the chair person of the nursing program. She told us today during orientation.

i'm more interested in what the TEAS results were!!! that is the main factor! did they give that info in orientation?

they mentioned it but not thorough. just score high as you can at the teas. have a high natural science gpa and along with a high cum gpa. with all these, you'll be set.
