MDC new requirements Spring 2011

I went to another college for statistics. I have my B.S. already but in another area. They consider me a transfer at MDC. I am just gonna take it. I am not good at math so testing out of it, ain't gonna happen for poor me. Can someone PM me with the professors they took that were good and if it was on campus at North or online? :)

Also, anyone who took or is taking HSC003 Intro to health care can you PM me about what you do in the class and if anyone took it online. I want to know if this is an easy course or not. What should I expect? Anything please ! Thank you! :)

Hey, I notice how everyone is sharing their gpa and teas rankings. I want an honest opinion. I got a 3.85 science gpa and scored a 78.7% on the teas v.*

Would you put your money on my scores to get in the fall 2011 generic class?*

I think you have a pretty good chance.... the average score is in the mid to upper 70s and your gpa is solid.... if you're really worried maybe take it again for an 84+%.... My opinion... you're good and have nothing to worry about...

Thank you so much for your response.

I really don't want to take that test again for the following reasons:

1. The time is too short. I had to speed read and rush thru the other sections.

2. I didn't get to finish the math part. I had to guess the last 6-7 questions.

3. It's 4 hours of misery. I was ready to go leave at the two hour mark.

I went the other week to test out of having to take the computer class and while I was at the testing center I did notice that they have that CLEP test Shamanai...wish I would have known about it...I think I could have studied some algebra on my own and would have been fine...oh well...but Sheeco maybe you should look into it...my college algebra class right now is super easy. Pretty much what I just did in intermediate all over again. Atleast I dont have to study

If you do really really well on the TEAS exam anything is possible! That is 60% of what they look at =) Good Luck!! We have another forum going too if you are interested for those of us trying to get in Fall 11' I think its title is MDC Fall 2011 =) in the FL nursing programs discussion area.
