  1. So I've decided to try and go through with the program kinda at the last minute...i still need to get my background check done or they will drop me from my classes and I have my appointment for Monday. I was wondering how long it took to get your background checks done? The paper says 48 to 72 hours I hope that is true... Also has anyone else's degree audit changed?
  2. has anyone else's degree audit changed?
  3. Hey everyone just found this thread =) Haven't been on here in a while. So I have the drug test and titers done and I am going to get the TB tests and whatnot done this week...honestly I have been so nervous the past few weeks I have even been questioning whether or not I can really make it as a nurse. =( but I know I at least need to try =) Reading all of your posts are encouraging me though...thanks! For books I think I am going to get one of those rolling backpacks but I am going to wait and see what they say at orientation. Also I bought the Littman lightweight stethoscope so I hope that will work alright?? Any suggestions on good shoes to get?
  4. Yes I have received what I am offered for my Pell grant... Am I the only one super stressed out about this next year and a half coming up?...really questioning whether I can get through this...I am so nervous!
  5. yea i think we register at orientation
  6. OK I think everything is finally starting to sink in!! At first I was feeling so overwhelmed but now I am starting to get really excited!! We should try to get a good study group together...so who on here was accepted for the generic full time that wants to study!! =) And to those who havn't heard yet don't fret yet...it seems like a lot of ppl got accepted to more than one program and they can only go to one of them so I am sure the second wave of emails will go out soon!! =)
  7. I am interested in your docs name...I am trying to figure out the cheapest way for me to get all this done because I have no health insurance....anyone know of anywhere cheaper than that? Someone had also mentioned to me that we might need health insurance to participate in the program but I didn't see any mention of that in my email had anyone else heard of that? Also I am wondering do we register ourselves for classes when regular registration opens on the 22nd or do we wait for orientation? I think the reality of this whole thing is really starting to hit me...I am so excited and nervous about the responsibility and experiences we are going to have in the next coming years!!
  8. Congrads everyone can't wait to meet you all!!
  9. Thanks everyone!! I am soooo nervous and excited right now...I know the next 2 years are going to be so challenging and change my life!! Oh and I applied to generic full time
  10. I have a 4.0 and I got an 84 on the TEAS...good luck everyone!!!
