It's never too early to start the discussion....
Anyone else preparing to apply to the Nursing program at MDC by May 1, for a Fall 2021 start date? Which tracks? TEAS test plans?

Full time at medical campus is 150, 100 at Homestead campus. I am not sure about accelerated and transition.
So it looks like a good amount of people have received acceptance letters these two weeks. I also got accepted into the FT Generic program. The next few steps we need to complete is tedious. There are a lot of things that we need to add to Complio which we also need to pay for. Not sure if we're allowed to post Groupchat links here or not. If there is one, can someone message me the link please?
Congratulations to those who received their acceptance! ?
To those that have been accepted, what are the tasks on complio that need to be done?
I haven’t been accepted yet, but would like to be ready for when I (hopefully) do get accepted. My CPR certification already expired so I need to get certified. I was certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. Is all that necessary? Is there a specific certification they’re asking for? Whats the best place to get certified? I received mine from an HSC course I did at MDC so don’t know where to go. I see different prices everywhere
Thanks for your help :)
Hey guys!
For everyone that’s a bit concerned because they did not receive a letter- I just spoke to the school of nursing and they said they’re just sending out letters to people that have a high GPAs along with TEAS scores over 75%, after this is done they will then do a “general pool” and select from there. I am super nervous because my GPA isn’t that hot and my TEAS score is pretty mediocre in comparison with most on this feed.
@Hopfullyhopeful yeah, I'm super nervous, I fall under that criteria, my GPA is super high and my TEAS score is above 75% and still haven't received a letter ?

This is so nerve-racking! With a high GPA I’m sure you’ll hear from them soon because from what I can see that’s pretty much the main focus. I have a 3.3 over all and a 3.1 science GPA with a 84% TEAS score. I’m super worried too
