Hi guys! Who else is applying for MDC Fall 2011?
I am also applying for FIU-- I was accepted last year to MDC but for financial and personal reasons could not attend. :'( Who else will be applying to Generic FT? Please state what program you will be applying to!
I will be taking the TEAS sometime in March, in which I will also be taking the HESI A2 for FIU. So I might as well be studying for both, lol. Anybody taken the TEAS at MDC? Share your experiences here! :) I will be using a general book for nursing school entrance exams... it's by Barron... and I will be studying my math from a nursing calculation book, and my sciences from my anatomy, biology, and other notes. Is it true there is geology on the exam? How irrelevant... lol
Well good luck to us all! :heartbeat
They have the rubella titer I need to get for only $39
You probably already know but I just wanted to make sure you didn't accidentally overlook it but the MDC page says "Measles(Rubeola), Mumps and Rubella(German Measles) blood titer lab results". So you may want to get the $79 MMR titres unless you already had some ruled out.
Quick question to if anyone can answer PLEASE?! Since you all are so informed and I notices some of you had problems with transcripts! I'm planning to apply for the Full Time Generic Option for the 2012 FALL term but I finish all my pre-reqs in the Spring Term. Would I be able to make it before the deadline? My classes would all be done and I'm imaginig they would have full access to my transcripts?! Answer anyone?! Pleaseeee :) thank you!
In short, yes. If you are finishing your pre-reqs in the spring semester, which ends April 30, you'll be done by the application deadline of May 1. I finished MCB 2010 in spring of 2011, and was able to make the cutoff date.
If you are submitting transcripts from another institution, however, this will probably change things.

I already got the MMR titres (for $160) and was immune to everything but rubella so I had to have a rubella vaccination and now do the rubella titer again. The Dr says she can't do rubella individually...She just wants to charge me more...I'm on to her:rolleyes:
Thanks for making sure though!
anyone going to the med campus for the CPR on 7/9?? I am hoping to register friday. I need the direct deposit first.
I'm registered for it on 7/9 at med campus. Let me know if u register for it and maybe we can meet up right before. :)
On eagles wings, do u live in Kendall? Too bad we can't all take it together...oh well, let's definitely all get together for orientation. That was a great idea! :nurse:
Aghh ok thank you so much :) I thought I had to wait there for a minute for a half a year to apply for the Spring! & yes all my classes would be completed in MDC! Thank you so much! Btw quick question, did you take MCB2010 alone?
Sure thing!
I ended up taking the Micro lecture and lab together. It was my last prereq to get done so I figured why not knock them out together? You have to complete it eventually anyway so now it's one less thing to worry about!
If you like I can send you the name of my professor and tell you a little bit about him 80)
