MDC 2016 Fall RN GENERIC PROGRAM

Hello there. My name is Greg. Im gonna start hopefully the nursing program this fall 2016 in Miami dade college. let me tell you a little about me. Ive graduated from Miami dade college in 2014 with my AA in pre nursing, therefore I have all my pre reqs done. my overall gpa is 3.62 and my science gpa is 3.96. I still haven't taken the hesi exam but I plan on march. Im starting this post because were already in January of 2016 and I would like to meet my future classmates. Please if you starting in fall of 2016 feel free to comment and let us all know your status and strategies on the hesi exam. We can all help each other out. By the way I heard the deadline to apply for the fall term is may 2016.

So I heard they get your ranking score by doing HESI score x 0.6 and then adding your GPA. For example if your GPA is 3.9 you would add 39.

Has anyone heard of this? And what's everyone's score? Mine is 88.

Hey I heard that too. Mine is an 87

Lana like you said they count the hesi score as 60 % and the science GPA as 40 %. It is the science GPA not the total GPA. My hesi score is 83 and my science GPA is 3.71 for a total of 87

I took the HESI exam today and it was pretty much like the book. I did better on the chemistry and biology than the A&P. The A&P section was not what I expected. I thought it asked questions that were not really reviewed in the HESI Exam Review Book. My overall score was an 83. I transferred from Broward college and my GPA was a 3.6 there but for some reason it's a 3.1 at MDC. I applied for the part time generic program and I really hope I get in. Good luck to all. Hey guys,

I just took the Hesi and applied today. hesi score 80 GPA 3.8 = 86 cum score

how could I check the cumulative Hesi score online? I'm not given the option online. Can someone help?

Books for sale for MDC Nursing program and new with tags uniform (never been work) - I have some books that are still being used for the MDC nursing program. Have Fundamentals and the health assessment book for first semester. I also have have a ladies green uniform in size Medium that has never been worn and the white clinical top. All with tags. If anyone is interested in buying them please let me know. I will be selling the uniform for slightly less than I paid for them so it will be a better deal than buying from the bookstore.
