Published

Good Afternoon

I created this post in the hopes that all applicants applying for the nursing program at Miami dade can submit experience they have had so far. Also we can help each other in this long process on the way to nursing school. I also created this so that we can submit any questions that you may have. I'm currently applying for the accelerated option. Please lets all come together and get this started!!!!

Hey! Im applying for Fall 2016 too. Im going for the accelerated program. I take my HESI on March 28th (so nervous!!!). In the book theirs a physics section. Is there physics on the test? Good luck to all!!!

How was it??? í ½í¸í ½í¸í ½í¸

Does the exam has a variation of questions? I mean graphics, multiple choice, complete the blank? Or how does it work? Thanks for the feedback

It was either multiple choice or fill in the blank. Majority of the math was fill in and some multiple choice. Everything else was multiple choice the sciences, grammar, vocab.

What did you score the second time? Are you applying for full time bridge ?

Can u check the cum score???

I'm soo mad that im just seeing your message! As you know by now there isn't a physics section on this HESI. So heads up to the people who havent taken it yet.

I was going to apply to the accelerated also but I heard it was very hard and impossible to work during. So i applied to the other two instead.

Im sure you did great on the HESI, please share when you return!

It's down to 72 are you applying for the bridge or generic?

What's your gpa and what did you get on the hesi?

What's your gpa and what did you get on the hesi?

My gpa is 3.84 and I'm taking the hesi next month ☺️

How was it???

It went well thanks! I applied to both the generic and the accelerated today. Got a 90 on the HESI and my pre-req GPA is a 3.2. I don't think they look at cumulative, but I'm not sure.

Is anyone else a transfer student? I have to wait for my transcripts to be sent once I finish my bachelors at the end of April. If their not sent in time they wont be able to see any of my grades I don't have a chance of getting in. Does anybody know anything about this?

Hey guys,

I just took the Hesi and applied today. hesi score 80 GPA 3.8 = 86 cum score

how could I check the cumulative Hesi score online? I'm not given the option online. Can someone help?

Thanks

P.S future test takers...study the Hesi book it really helped me a lot. I only studied a week for about 2hours+. I feel like I could've done better but I was so nervous. Good luck everyone! :)
