Miami Dade College Fall 2016 Nursing Program Admission

Good Afternoon

I created this post in the hopes that all applicants applying for the nursing program at Miami dade can submit experience they have had so far. Also we can help each other in this long process on the way to nursing school. I also created this so that we can submit any questions that you may have. I'm currently applying for the accelerated option. Please lets all come together and get this started!!!! :yes:

I am so happy you posted this and I made an account just so I could post.I am applying for the full time generic option at Miami Dade as well. I will take the Hesi A2 exam on February 19 which I am currently studying for. Can't wait to see what the future holds.

Hello Ladies! There are two trends of MDC programs from previous years one created last year and one a few years before that. I will see if I can provide the links for them on here. They have LOADS of information in there about this nursing program and have put me at complete ease. I am excited to see what the future holds!

I took my HESI exam on Jan 27th and turned in my application the same day. I had to fly into Florida to take it. Couldn't transfer the HESI exam from the state I live in. I am currently waiting for them to grant the override of the HSC 0003 class with my CNA license and CPR card.

I applied to the Full time and part time programs.

Which campus do you guys prefer to be on?

Aww thats great. Did you do well? I created this post so that we could all be familiar with one another before school starts. I am going to apply at the Medical campus. If I do good on Friday then Ill apply that same day.

That is good! I got a 77.8 percent on the HESI for the first time. I will probably take it another time in April to see if I can get higher. I would be happy to be at either Medical or Homestead. I prefer Medical since it will be closer to where I will be living.

Did you study with the study guide book they recommended?

Yes I did. It helped a lot. There were a few of the same questions on the exam from the study guide.

Does the exam has a variation of questions? I mean graphics, multiple choice, complete the blank? Or how does it work? Thanks for the feedback í ½í¸„
