MD Anderson Grad Residency Program

Hello all.

Thought I would start a topic to discuss the MD Anderson Cancer Center's Grad Residency Program that is to start on June 25, 2012 and July 09, 2012. The application deadline was on April 27, 2012. Let's keep each other updated and post when MD Anderson starts calling for interviews, etc. Good luck to everyone that applied!!

I called them today and the lady said they haven't finished going down the list yet and are still extending offers. She also confirmed that they would be sending out rejection emails. She didn't give me a time frame though.

Thanks for calling. Hopefully we will hear something by the end of the week. I want to know either way. The wait is killing me!

Thanks so much for calling!! I take the NCLEX on Tuesday so I really hope I hear something before the weekend, otherwise I'll be doubly stressed all weekend and I really need to be able to focus on the exam :)

good luck rsh! i take mine in less than two weeks and this whole not knowing whether or not they want me is beyond distracting...we need to stay focused!

Thanks amoeba and rsh! I'm using a kaplan study guide, saunders, my hurst review book and a bunch of practice questions. I'm hoping my exit exam is actually a good "predictor" like it says it is.

Me too! Did your school use ATI? If those tests are at all comparable to it then I feel alot better. A few classmates have already taken theirs but I havent really heard about how they felt about it yet

Still nothing. I emailed yesterday to get a timeframe on when we can possibly expect rejection emails and haven't heard back yet. Looks like it'll be another long weekend. Anything on yalls end?.

Have not heard anything either. Called HR yesterday, said they are still working on finalizing applicants.

Well I got a call at 430 today. They're still deciding units and I'll know more Monday. I think they were rushing to get more calls made. All I could say was thank you for not making me wait the weekend!!! I'm sure more good news is coming to this forum!!
