Hey I found out last night, I got into the days RN program:yeah:, i was just wondering if there is anyone else on here who did????

I was wondering when you get your shots and drug screen if you are accepted into the RN program. I was at a party the other night and walked right into a room full of "smoke" . Anyone know?

HI all, nobe here.

I am currently an LPN, and have been for years, I am wanting to go back to school to get my RN (possibly BSN), I want to do it ASAP and just curious if anyone has any info on ECPI (MCI) LPN-RN/ BSN bridge? As far as time it takes to complete etc.

I have saw where many people say the LPN program is 12 mo and the RN is 15 but the Bridge can't be just 3 months.

The biggest reason I am asking is I live in SC and the greenville campus only has LPN programs and all the comm colleges have very long waiting lists (even for LPN's). I am looking to move to VA for a short while to finish my RN. I have the GI bill to pay for it so I am not worried about the cost, I am just wondering about the time. If it can be done in 4-6 months I can probably stay with my brother, longer then that and I'll have to look at other options. What are the classroom/ clinical hours?

Any other info you care to share?

Thanks,

fly

Hey all quick question. I am an LPN and am wondering how long the ECPI (MCI) RN bridge programme is?

Thanks,

Fly

Hi All!

Anyone know how long the RN bridge is? I am a LPN and want to be an RN FAST!

Thanks,

Fly

sorry so short this is my 4th attempt at posting :-)

sorry about the over posting I see they finally ALL worked. :banghead:

The RN - ADN program is 15 months long. I am not sure if there is a LPN to BSN bridge. I think that is only if you already have your RN license.

I was wondering when you get your shots and drug screen if you are accepted into the RN program. I was at a party the other night and walked right into a room full of "smoke" . Anyone know?

You have to have the shots and drug screen completed before your first clinical. Usually 3-4 months from when you start.

Thank you so much! I was worried that it would have to be done at orientation and that's in a week or so. I don't really think it would have effected the test, but you never know!!

Yay! Just found out I got in to the RN program for September 15th, 2008 :) Anyone else on here going to be in the upcoming nights program?

:nurse:

Sadly, there is not LPN-RN bridge at MCI. You just have to take the 15 month RN class. Hope this helps :)

Congratulations Siameser!! If you have Dr. Nik for your A&P, she is the best!! I really enjoyed her classes!

I was accepted into the nights program too for September 15th! i'm soo excited!:nurse:
