Hey I found out last night, I got into the days RN program:yeah:, i was just wondering if there is anyone else on here who did????
HI all, nobe here.
I am currently an LPN, and have been for years, I am wanting to go back to school to get my RN (possibly BSN), I want to do it ASAP and just curious if anyone has any info on ECPI (MCI) LPN-RN/ BSN bridge? As far as time it takes to complete etc.
I have saw where many people say the LPN program is 12 mo and the RN is 15 but the Bridge can't be just 3 months.
The biggest reason I am asking is I live in SC and the greenville campus only has LPN programs and all the comm colleges have very long waiting lists (even for LPN's). I am looking to move to VA for a short while to finish my RN. I have the GI bill to pay for it so I am not worried about the cost, I am just wondering about the time. If it can be done in 4-6 months I can probably stay with my brother, longer then that and I'll have to look at other options. What are the classroom/ clinical hours?
Any other info you care to share?
Thanks,
fly
I was wondering when you get your shots and drug screen if you are accepted into the RN program. I was at a party the other night and walked right into a room full of "smoke" . Anyone know?
You have to have the shots and drug screen completed before your first clinical. Usually 3-4 months from when you start.
