MCC nursing applicants for 2015

Published

Hello everyone!

I've been obsessively reading over the threads for the 2013 and 2014 applicants, but I thought I'd see if anyone will be applying to the Nursing program at Macomb Community College for 2015. I am a transfer student from Texas and will be taking A&P this summer then intro to Nursing (since MCC requires that you take their specific course) and micro in the Fall. I'm so excited to get back into school and was wondering if anyone is following along the same timeline.

Also if that is true, how did the person with a 3.5 and HESI of 84 get ranked higher than me? I have a 3.51 and 85 hesi.

My whole gpa was 3.5742 and hesi of 84. My composite was 86.5 yours was 86.4, that's why i got ranked one higher than you.

Please add me as well, I MADE IT IN!!!!!!!

GPA 3.402/ 90 HESI

Oh okay :/

This is so frustrating. Looking at 2014, I don't see anyone past alternate 12 getting in (that committed anyways)

Is there a way to find out if you moved up on the wait list? For example if people don't pay by May 8th or don't show may 20th. Or are you just in the dark until they call

How many alternates are there?

@Jul'Nel. I can't find you! I'll PM you the link

I think we're just kinda in the dark until they call. Idk about that. Someone on here earlier said they couldn't accept their spot so technically i am #11 and you are #12 now. And that happened in one day, we have potential to move up fast if people decide they don't want their spot or get accepted into a different school/program..etc.

Has anyone heard from Deanna? I have my fingers crossed for her.

Does anyone know if we pay for the whole nursing program up front or pay per semester?

Never mind dumb question. Obviously it's per semester.

I believe it's per semester..i sure hope so because i have to pay out of pocket for everything.

I know this is really early but does anyone know what books we need for first semester? Like Title and Author? Just so I can start looking at pricing to get an idea of what the books cost. I'm sure we'll be finding out soon enough but thought it couldn't hurt to ask lol
