MCC nursing applicants for 2015

Hello everyone!

I've been obsessively reading over the threads for the 2013 and 2014 applicants, but I thought I'd see if anyone will be applying to the Nursing program at Macomb Community College for 2015. I am a transfer student from Texas and will be taking A&P this summer then intro to Nursing (since MCC requires that you take their specific course) and micro in the Fall. I'm so excited to get back into school and was wondering if anyone is following along the same timeline.:up:

When I applied for my degree last year I got my confirmation letter the very next day. I just don't understand why it's taking so long to get our letters!! Everyone got their letters this day last year!! :banghead:

Seriously! This is so dumb. Why does it take them almost 5 months to give us an answer?! I applied to OU's nursing program as well; their application deadline was on April 15 and their program director said they mail out their letters sometime in June.

Even one of my teachers told me that it's stupid they make everyone wait this long because it's all computerized. :no:

Exactly, it's so stupid. I would understand if they had to manually go through each application by hand and sort them out, but it's 2015... Technology is here for a reason... To make things more efficient and quicker lol

I just want to call and say "okay, can you please direct me to someone that has the correct information on if/when the letters will be sent out." 😖
