MCC nursing applicants for 2015

Hello everyone!

I've been obsessively reading over the threads for the 2013 and 2014 applicants, but I thought I'd see if anyone will be applying to the Nursing program at Macomb Community College for 2015. I am a transfer student from Texas and will be taking A&P this summer then intro to Nursing (since MCC requires that you take their specific course) and micro in the Fall. I'm so excited to get back into school and was wondering if anyone is following along the same timeline.:up:

Also some of the practice questions online are a bit discouraging. They seem more complex than what is in the hesi study guide.

I have been studying a little here and there. I'm taking Micro right now and will be hardcore studying for the HESI when this semester is over. My HESI exam date is January 7th. So, I have about 3 weeks to crack down on the studying. My friend just had her date and she got an 88 and will be applying with a 3.8. I hope I do as well.

Ill be taking it jan 7 as well! How did she say the hesi was, any tips or whats on it?

We really haven't talked about details. All she said was that she's happy it was over.

I feel that the only thing that may be mkre difficukt than. The study guide is the anp portion last gr when I took the test for practice I found everything on the test was in the book besides anp I didnt pay attention to the questions online when studying anp cuz I didnt feel the anp portion on the test would be as hard as what the net had but THEH WERE so pay attention as closely as possible to anp but everything else the book covers well

Me too I have been studying here n there rrviewing my math and grammar and coming up with a good strategy to study the anp portion... .. One godd way to cover the anp portion is work system by system go on youtube find detailed lectures of the systems do one or 2 systems a weeek and memorize... after the semester is over i plan on going into over drive... I beleive my test date is jan8 at 8 in the morning I will deffintkey post andlet everyone know how I did

We wont know the number of applicants until after the application dead line then they will let us know I hope the numbers are lower this yr but I know it probally wont be lol wishful thinking

I know, what I meant is do you ladies know of a lot of people applying this year? Like the people in my classes are mostly applying next year.

Has anyone else taken their HESI exam this year yet? I think so far 3 dates already has. This forum is so quiet!!:bored:

Lol I ikr guess everyone is buisy studying and getgi. G ready for the test… I havent my date is the 7or8th of jan gotta checck my paper
