Hey everyone!!!

I am so excited to apply for the Mayo Clinic externship of 2018. I have been dreaming of it since high school.

Best of luck to everyone who applies. I truly hope that all of the most passionate nurses will get in.

For everyone who has gotten an email, have you all gotten in or have been told not this time? I am just wondering if they are sending out emails to everyone or just to the people who get into the final 100. Also what do your last names start with? I heard they do it by alphabetical order as well. Thanks I am just anxious! Good luck to everyone!!

I got an email as well! It just says that I've made it beyond the initial screening phase and I need to send in my transcript & placement preferences

Does anyone know if they have narrowed it down to 100 like in similar years? I'm excited that we'll have a final answer by the middle of Feb!

Does anyone know if they send all the "moving on" emails the same day? I haven't got anything yet, and my application status has not changed. Has anyone unfortunately received a rejection email?

Maybe they aren't doing rejection emails this year. I haven't received anything either and my application status hasn't changed.

Does anyone know the nursing recruiter's phone number? I am just curious if they are still sending out emails (Which I doubt but still can't hurt to ask)

I haven't received an email yet either. My last name starts with a "T" and it's 2:52 PM (CST) where I'm at.

Just called but the receptionist said that the recruiter is not in the office so I couldn't get any info. Last year they sent out the rejections and the acceptances at the same time so I'm confused by this. Just wanna know so I can figure out my summer plans haha. Congrats to all who already have their acceptances though!
