Mayo Clinic Summer III 2021 Nursing Externship -Rochester

Published

Hi everyone! I wanted to start a thread to learn more about others who are applying for the program. I've read posts from past cohorts and thought it would be a great way for us to meet each other. I can't wait to hear from you all! ?

Kudos to those who were selected as an alternate as getting this far into the selection process is an achievement in itself! Hope the odds are in your favor and you're able to make it in or have other opportunities lined up ♡cʕ•́ ᴥ •̀cʔ

I guess that gives the rest of us a 50/50 chance of either being rejected or accepted, but I'm hoping for the latter!!

I was just emailed being notified I was selected as an alternate. Did anyone else get this email?

I feel that on so many levels. I was really bummed honestly. It was just soooo close and it was within reach you know?

It’s 12 am where I am which means it’s officially the week! Good luck everyone!

this week sure is going by slow...

yes it is! It feels excruciatingly slow for me as school has been cancelled through Wednesday at least from the snow storm here. So I'm just sitting here staring at my e-mail!

@nocostudentnurse no snow here in CA, stay safe and warm! all my classes are still virtual, so my eyes are glued to my email too haha

I'm so excited for you all! I've been waiting to hear the good news! ?

Don’t know about y’all but maybe check your emails because I got a message from HR to check my application!

Oh wow! Congrats! (I hope!) - I just checked, no email, and my application still says under review/in review, whatever the wording is.

I got an offer to work on the solid organ transplant floor! Very excited!

Congrats! I’ll be on the gynecology/urology floor! Can’t wait!
