I previously was an alternate and Mayo just offered me a position in my top choice, the operating room! I am shocked and so very excited for this Summer!

I read that there were five alternates selected in past years on an old forum I read... but based on how many of us are alternates, I am assuming that is no longer accurate.

I emailed HR yesterday... Still no response. =/

I tried calling HR to ask if they knew when an email would be coming out... It went to voice mail. Hopefully, we will find out soon.
