Hello! I wanted to start a thread for the Mayo Clinic Nurse Residency, Phoenix, AZ for July 2021. I figured we could share when we see the job posting and when interviews begin. I'm excited to graduate and start working ?

Honestly Any position will be a blessing at this point. Yes 60 it a good number ?

Yes!! Has anyone else applied for the Mayo Jacksonville Nurse Residency program or any Mayo positions in Rochester?

My friends from the fall application cycle said it took about 2-weeks before they got interview emails.

@J2Flowers1 I heard emails are bad we might except a phone call because emails is for people who are not selected ?

No, I'm actually from out of state! Looking to relocate to AZ after graduation ?

I personally haven't but I was told those locations are much less competitive than the Phoenix campus. So if Mayo is your dream hospital it wouldn't hurt to try!

You're right, thanks! Yes, I applied to the Jacksonville campus back on March 3rd, but I have not yet heard from them. I go to school in the Rochester MN area and the Mayo system is excellent here but I would like a different change of scenery!! ?

Hello all,

I have been keeping an eye on this thread for a while. I’m actually from Minnesota, just finishing up an Accelerated BSN in North Dakota (graduate in April) and have applied to both Mayo in Rochester and the nurse residency program in Phoenix because the weather in Arizona just sounds so much better LOL. Rochester called me fairly quickly—a couple days after I applied—and I have an interview with them on 4/9, but now to the good part...I actually also received an unexpected phone call today (Saturday 4/3) from an unknown number which just so happened to be a placement coordinator from Mayo Clinic Phoenix. I was surprised since it is indeed Saturday, but she left a voicemail for me to call back on Monday to schedule a time for an interview. Long story short I think you guys can expect a call sometime this coming week if you haven’t already. Best of luck to you all, you will do great.
