  1. Congratulations!! Congratulations!!
  2. I interviewed with Mayo Arizona in April but ended up accepting a position with Mayo Rochester shortly after so I withdrew my application with Arizona. Best of luck to everyone who interviewed and please post here if you get an offer! Take care!
  3. @Abe23 My application still says "in review." It will stay that way until I call on Monday to set up an interview. The placement coordinator will then switch my app to "interview" and I will get a confirmation email with the date/time of my interview in it. Hope this helps!
  4. Hopefully you will get a call this coming week. I found it rather odd myself to get a call on a Saturday so hopefully everyone's phone rings this coming week. I just wanted to let everyone know that they've started calling people since I know everyone is anxious and wants to know. Yes, I absolutely had a cover letter and included two letters of recommendation. I was also very thorough in my resume as well. I did not do clinicals with them, but nursing is not my first career (prior degree in healthcare administration) so I do have a bit of experience in the healthcare realm. If you would like more information on what Mayo looks for with the application process you should go to the "Mayo Clinic Jobs" facebook page. There is a video posted October 22, 2019 titled "Mayo Clinic Nursing Career Opportunities" which describes what they look for in the resume and application process, as well as talk about other pertinent things, etc. This is where I obtained information for myself and I recommend it for anybody who wants to apply in the future.
  5. Hello all, I have been keeping an eye on this thread for a while. I’m actually from Minnesota, just finishing up an accelerated BSN in North Dakota (graduate in April) and have applied to both Mayo in Rochester and the nurse residency program in Phoenix because the weather in Arizona just sounds so much better LOL. Rochester called me fairly quickly—a couple days after I applied—and I have an interview with them on 4/9, but now to the good part...I actually also received an unexpected phone call today (Saturday 4/3) from an unknown number which just so happened to be a placement coordinator from Mayo Clinic Phoenix. I was surprised since it is indeed Saturday, but she left a voicemail for me to call back on Monday to schedule a time for an interview. Long story short I think you guys can expect a call sometime this coming week if you haven’t already. Best of luck to you all, you will do great.
