Hello! I wanted to start a thread for the Mayo Clinic Nurse Residency, Phoenix, AZ for July 2021. I figured we could share when we see the job posting and when interviews begin. I'm excited to graduate and start working ?

Hi guys,

Thanks for starting this thread! Mayo Clinic AZ has been my dream ever since starting the ABSN program and I'm excited and nervous as well! Are you guys from out of state?

I am in-state currently attending the ABSN program at NAU - will graduate end of April. I requested to do my preceptorship at Mayo but have not heard about placement yet. Regardless, I am planning on applying to Mayo for their residency program. ?

Any ideas on when the application might open up? I was wondering if it would be in the next week or so based on previous cycles.

I graduate in may and will also be applying! I am from South Dakota and plan on relocating to AZ!

Hi New Friends,

I will be graduating from ASU at end of this Spring semester. Started last January (2020) in the ABSN program & due COVID related events, I transitioned to the traditional program, extending my graduation by one semester.  

That being said, 3 of my friends from the ABSN program will be starting the Mayo new grad residency on Feb 22.  Very excited for them & I dream of joining them in July.

Being the impatient career seeker, I called HR Connect yesterday and according to their calendar, the applications for the Summer 2021 new grad residency program should open in March.  In the past it has been February, so I would just be on alert.

Congrats to all of us for making it to our final semester of nursing school!

I know that the application opens March 23-25th, not sure how they go about conducting interviews. 

I plan on applying as well so fingers crossed to everyone else who will be applying! Good luck! ?

It still open maybe till tomorrow but did anyone knows what time did they usually close? Also would mayo take ADN or just BSN.

It will be open tomorrow. They do take ADN, but per the info on their site you must obtain your BSN within 5years.
