Hi, just wanted to start a thread for the Feb 2024 new grad nurse residency program!

Hey! I was wondering if anyone had any insight on what they're looking for in applicants? I'm graduating in Dec and plan to take the NCLEX ASAP but am I still able to apply before my graduation date? Any info is appreciated!

Hey! So I graduate in December as well. Being that the residency doesn't start until Feb 2024 we are able to apply to the residency. Application date will be displayed on the Mayo Clinic website. The requirements include your academic transcript (official or unofficial) and your resume. Be sure to include your clinical experiences on your resume.

I am not a new graduate and looking for a residency program to transition into the hospital. Does this exist? Just curious why hospitals don't have this type of program.  I would like to apply to Mayo but I have been away from the beside since Aug 2020.

The hospital is struggling right now. If you are hired expect a very arrogant attitude and expect to work your *** off.
