apparently, ive been waiting for other people to start a support group for may nclex takers.....but no....so here i am.....
im taking my nclex on the 7th of may...hopefully, i pass this time. im tired of living a non-RN life......
This is what I did in prep for the test. From my library I ordered Mosby's. Kaplan, and the Princeton Review "cracking the NCLEX". The Kaplan was great and I recommed it to everyone, it tells you about the test. But for the content ai recommend the Princeton it reviewed everything!

hey jon..i checked the site again today. my auntie came in again to ask. im really planning not to check on it, but she's hesitant, since someone just called her and told her she passed on the same day i took the test. i took the test by 12noon..finish by 4pm. it says there it was last updated today. i checked for my name on the permanent license verification. my name was not there..im having trouble on which county to put in..is the county they were asking for base on your address or in which county you took the test? im really sad right now..
well...may family i'm sorry to be the 1st one to say i failed:cry:..yup..i kinda had a feeling that i didnt' make after i finished, but i was still hoping for the best..:wink2: ..now i'm going to approach this like i've never taken this before, my only thing is that i don't know where to start and how to study again...i did kaplan, i have saunders 4th ed, nclex rn- illustrated ( didnt' use it much) i gave it my all for sure i know that ,but i still didn't pass...the only good thing about this is that i didnt' tell anyone (friends and/or family) that i was testing so, no one knows that i failed the test:nono:...i'm glad about that, i wont feel the pressure from anyone really...so i know a lot of you guys are 2nd, 3rd, 4th timers! any suggestions? pm me pls..i'm sorry you guys that i broke the winning streak:banghead:..well i'm gonna go to the mall now with my husband ( he has been soooooooo supportive) i think he feels worse than i do..
..

i think the county that they are asking is based on our home adress.hope it helps..
HII did whole saunder's book and cd too and now do lippinccot book and cd is it enough for the nclex what do you think?
Well each person is different as to when they are ready to take the test. I tested after almost completing the Saunders book. (Didn't do 3 chapters) However I did a very intense study plan using the Saunders book and felt ready. I know others who only do the questions and its not very intense because they do nothing else.
When you feel ready schedule the test. Or just schedule the test and make yourself ready. Good luck! :)
I am new this website. But you can count me in. I have taken the NCLEX a couple of times and I am with yall so ready for this to be over with. HAvent scheduled my test yet, still waiting on my ATT. I wish all of yall good luck. Besides Kaplan what have yall been studying with? I do good studying at home but when I get to the test there I mess up. I have taken all 265 questions twice. The next will be the last
