May Nclex takers...come and join hands...

apparently, ive been waiting for other people to start a support group for may nclex takers.....but no....so here i am.....

im taking my nclex on the 7th of may...hopefully, i pass this time. im tired of living a non-RN life......

well, i checked my name on the web, no luck....i tested last tuesday and this is the earliest day i should look....i guess i didnt make it again....by next week, i will be sending my reapplication letter again....

hey..howdy? well..it's only the earliest day you could possibly check your name on the site. you still got more days and chances ahead of you..don't fret. just trying to keep your spirit up and calm you down. like jon says (and everyone here) we know how it feels. you got the maximum number..and yeah it's a good chance. pray pray pray..pray that you'll think positively and to trust god completely. and yeah..don't send yet your reapplication..that means you're totally giving up..so don't. keep us posted..still here and i'll pray for you.:specs:

..Im happy to see that you are working. it will keep you busy and at least you are back in the "field". 3rd time IS the charm, ! you will so it. you will never be abandoned in here. its sad that no one, outside of nursing, knows how hard this really is. (again im gonna show bias towards us re-peat test takers)...

This was my first week back to work on my floor after almost 5 months. everyone was happy to see me, i got the "where ya been ???!!!"--soooo i had to tell them i failed twice and finally passed..they all said the same thing "well, thats over now and now your here..so all that didnt really matter, now does it ?"

So to you LETJACKSON and others i say the same thing, when you pass, and you WILL..it really wont matter how many times you took it, .you WILL BE THERE.

Thanks guys for uplifting my spirith....I wont give up....If I dont make it again... I will just try again...I thank the Lord that in my lat test I had so may questions that I know the answers...and that is because He guided me...I know I felt scared but somehow you guys touched me and I will just lift it up to God, no matter what my results maybe...pass or fail...I will accept it and try again.

I will still keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best.

--I am happy to see that you will not give up. I KNOW you will pass this test. you will see one day, soon (trust me) you will be with your family as an RN looking back on this whole expereince.

AND being insulted and flammed in my other thread i started , yeah some are pretty harsh on me in there

no problem though, they cant give me anything i havnt seen before.

You are so very nice....you made my day again by touching my life all the time, whenever I am feeling low, you are there encouraging us....honestly, deep inside i am still hoping and waiting...but practically, If not lucky enough , I will take it again by last week of July or 1st week of August....

--especially now, since i am being insulted in the other post i put, being called an "angry child" an all. Insinuating that i am less of a person/nurse for failing my NCLEX the first few times.

You know, i have nothing but respect fot those who passed the first time BUT with that being said, i (obviously) have a bias toward re-peat test takers...the first time passers will NEVER know the pain we (you) went through/are going through right now..they seem (in my opinion) to take it for granted....

i definitely can say i "grew" from this experience, having NEVER failed anything in my life and having the NCLEX beat me twice.

when i read posts like yours, when people have failed..or waiting etc.. i truley feel with them, and i cant wait until they PASS so they will know , what i know about how they will feel on that day :)

..but, some in here still continue to flame me, its sad..MANY members in allnurses who feel as i do, that the NCLEX is a dumb test and not inidicative of nursing competence..cannot/don not say what they feel because they see ME get flammed by other "members"--but they do PM me, email em and myspace me.

those "people" will never "walk in our shoes" and it is a shame for them to sit in judgement.

God Knows what is inside your heart....you feel our pain and is always there supporting us....They will never ever feel the depression and sadness we are dealing right now because they were the lucky ones who passed the test in their first try.

All I can say is, from the bottom of my heart....THANK YOU for never leaving us.

Someday, I will pass this test and as you said, look back, and have the sweetest smile on my face with my family and my May family always beside me.
