A bright spot in my week . . .
I've received another scholarship! I work pt at a hospital where the Hospital Associates (volunteers) sponsor a $1000 scholarship for an employee studying in a health care field. Since they are volunteers themselves, the scholarship selection process is weighted toward folks who do a lot of community service, and I do! So they picked me!
I am just thrilled, especially since I've had a rough couple of weeks. I'm first semester freshman, and I had to miss my first day of clinical Inot well looked upon) because my daughter was having surgery. I've been very stressy for a couple of weeks, and this is definitely a mood lifter!
(Funny how $$$ does that!) :roll
