@1smrtnurse.. hello i have a question... i just started talking exams with excelsior too but i go thru a 3rd party.. but im pretty sure its the same exams.. how did you study for the exams i heard there's a website that has study material.. and do they really work?? please help and thanks
hi Pixie.RN.. ive seen you on here quite a bit .. i know you went thru excelsior..right?? well how did you get thru the exams did you take the practice exams thru excelsior?? or did you get them from some where else..?? just trying to find the cheapest route .. since the exams its self are pricey .. thanks
I'm going through Excelsior. You download the syllabus from the website and it tells you all areas to study and the books needed. I also use studygroup101 study guides and they are awesome because they have alot of practice questions and they are only ten dollars per course. I passed transiton and health safety with them and used books I got on Amazon. I'm studying for Health Differences now and got their new audio review to listen to while I drive to work and it is awesome too. I register for my exam and purchase the practice exams and take form A then I review my weak spots and focus my study more in those areas, then I go through the study guide and take some quizzes and then take form B, if I score 70 or above I just go back to review until my exam day - studying the rationales from the practice exams.

Yes, I took the EC practice exams for each corresponding exam. They are an excellent study tool and resource. Passing the first time and even improving your grade is worth the investment. Just my opinion, of course.

may have to get lpn to Rn online,, but what is the study material and method like? do they just send you notes to study or do you have to look up tons of questions scattered in random order in a book? What is the method of study actually like? Not really asking if the material is hard itself, just wondering how you go about doing the program and how long you study a day..
