Material coverage

I am preparing for the NLN enterance exam. I have heard a lot about what areas to cover. My brother is coming to help me tonight with some stuff and I want to have a list of what needs to be covered. If anyone can think of anything I didn't add can you add it to this thread? Thanks!!

Verbal: Vocabulary and reading comprehension...anything I can do to prepare myself for this?

Math: Place value, rounding, prime numbers, divisibility rules, average, exponents, square roots & cube roots, intergers, fractions, decimals, Percents, Ratio and proportion, Evaluating expressions, order of operations, simplifying expressions, formulas, inequalities, factoring, geometry, Measurments, metric system

Science - General Biology, Human A&P, Basic Chemistry, Physics

I think I have everything covered....can I really refresh and learn a lot of this stuff by the 11th? G** help me :(

Do you have a bookstore (Borders, Barnes and Noble, etc) around? They should have prep books for you to look at. It could help a little.;)

If you have not already, Buy the NLN study book because i took the NLN-PN and the test was just like the practice tests in that book. Also i don't remember seeing to much A&P on there but i do remember the science in the study book is exactly what they have on the exam, as well as the math and Verbal( not the same exact questions, but they same type)

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

Is there a separate study book for the PN than the RN? Or did you use the RN book and if so do you know if the RN exam might be questions out of the book? Does anyone? LOL. I'm on the same boat as Jamie-Sue.

I found this and thought you might want to see it too.

Nursing Entrance Practice Tests, NET Test, TEAS Test, PSB Tests

I have been on a rampage trying to find some NLN help! If you read under the post called NLN pre-entrance exam where the OP is Euglena, someone was saying that she used highschool text books to learn the concept. I am going to be picking some up this week to study.
