I'm currently enrolled at CCRI completing the prerequisites for the Nursing Program. They are essentially the same as the prereqs for Massasoit. It seems like it would be much easier to gain acceptance to MCC than CCRI-where I may have to wait for a year after completing my prereqs before I can even apply (due to the once a year application process and since you must have completed the prereqs just to apply)!
For those of you who attend MCC, were you able to transfer any courses from other colleges? I will have Anatomy, Physiology (all taken 2008-9), General Psych, Developmental Psych, English Comp, and Int to Sociology. I'd hate to have to take everything over again.
Also, I see the application deadline is February 1st. How soon after applying are you notified of acceptance/rejection? Thanks in advance for any advice.
Hey ladies! Did you get a flyer in the mail for a financial assistance night at MCC? I saw the envelope and I got all excited thinking maybe they sent out their decisions early, and then I opened it up and saw the flyer...doh!!! I cannot wait to hear one way or another!

I didn't get a letter. I just moved and had my mail forwarded. I am wondering if they don't forward school mail. I will check with the school tomorrow.
No, I'm not going. I already filled out my FAFSA and was denied...no biggie! I just thought it was funny. Dknyb, if your mail has been forwarded, it will probably take an extra day or two to get to you! I had a wishful thinking moment because I'm not currently a student there, but I figure we were entered into the computer when we submitted our applications.
Did you apply to Umass aswell?awsome,what other school did you apply to? I only applied to 2 yr programs( my life is kinda on hold lol) Massasoit and Bunker Hill College (900 applicants) and I'm hoping to get into one school.:sofahider (just one) :plsebeg:lol
I only applied to Massasoit. If I don't get in I will apply to UMASS which has a Nov. deadline to start in the Spring as well as a few other schools for next Fall. I have a 4.0 and have done most of my sciences so I am sure that I will be able to get in somewhere. My friend got into the UMASS program for the Fall and I have another friend who started Bunker Hill last Fall.
Yes, I have finished them all. I was going to take Chemistry over the summer whether I get in or not so that I can be prepared to bridge into a BSN program when I finish.
What was your percentile?
