Massasoit Students...?s!

Published

Hey there!

I'm currently enrolled at CCRI completing the prerequisites for the Nursing Program. They are essentially the same as the prereqs for Massasoit. It seems like it would be much easier to gain acceptance to MCC than CCRI-where I may have to wait for a year after completing my prereqs before I can even apply (due to the once a year application process and since you must have completed the prereqs just to apply)!

For those of you who attend MCC, were you able to transfer any courses from other colleges? I will have Anatomy, Physiology (all taken 2008-9), General Psych, Developmental Psych, English Comp, and Int to Sociology. I'd hate to have to take everything over again.

Also, I see the application deadline is February 1st. How soon after applying are you notified of acceptance/rejection? Thanks in advance for any advice.

I hope you're right about that :-) I am really excited about starting in the Fall if I get in.

NOPE, When young get in, they will be stupid if they pass up a great student like yoursellf:specs:

Did you see their 2008 NCLEX pass rate , it just came out. Massasoit has been doing great with their scores since 2004.

Check it out.

Thank you. There are so many great students applying. It makes me sad to think that the majority will be getting rejection letters due to such a limited number of openings available. Hence, plan B...lol. I will keep taking classes and keep applying to schools until I get in somewhere.

Wow...what happened there? They had such an impressive record in the past.

I agree, I plan to apply until someone (lol) accepts me.

I would think that the more classes you have out of the way the better off you are. I wish you the best of luck!!!

My heart sank, when I saw the score. Bunker Hill's score improved but Massasoit's score took a dive.

How many students are accepted in the program, cause there are 89 people that took the exam

I think there are 54 or 56 in the day program and then there are 30-something in the night program...but the night program takes longer to complete

Good luck ladies! I hope we all have good news in a few weeks!

Can wait:w00t:

One more silly question...do you know when in April they send out the letters? I don't want to start getting crazy around Apr. 1, if it isn't until the end of the month!
