Hey there!
I'm currently enrolled at CCRI completing the prerequisites for the Nursing Program. They are essentially the same as the prereqs for Massasoit. It seems like it would be much easier to gain acceptance to MCC than CCRI-where I may have to wait for a year after completing my prereqs before I can even apply (due to the once a year application process and since you must have completed the prereqs just to apply)!
For those of you who attend MCC, were you able to transfer any courses from other colleges? I will have Anatomy, Physiology (all taken 2008-9), General Psych, Developmental Psych, English Comp, and Int to Sociology. I'd hate to have to take everything over again.
Also, I see the application deadline is February 1st. How soon after applying are you notified of acceptance/rejection? Thanks in advance for any advice.
There were allot of people and there are more exams coming up I bet they all look like it did today.
Im only applying to two schools, I hope I get into at least one program. what about you girls? Mcc does seem like a good program. Hosp come to this school to recruite nurses? That is awsome I have never heard of any other school that has something like this.
At my school over 900 people apply

The say they get about 300 valid applications each year. That means that you have already completed 3 sciences and have hopefully gotten a B or above. They also look at your statement letter and letter of recommendation. They send out the letters some time in April...which is a loooooong wait..lol. I haven't taken Chemistry so there are only a few schools you can apply to without it. If I don't get in I will take Chemistry in the Fall.
