I wanted to create this thread for folks who have applied to Massasoit Community College’s Nursing program for the Fall 2021 semester. How are things going for everyone?

Current and former students, do you have any feedback on this program for prospective students?

I wonder how that works.  I graduated in 2017 yet the last audit was 08/01/2020.  I graduated BSN in August 2020 but that school already had my Massasoit grades since 2017.

I wonder how it works as well! I’m driving myself crazy though-I just checked and it says last audited today! ? We have to be getting close!

I got a letter today from massasoit needing another copy of a transcript, but the deadline to return the transcript was April 26th, so I doubt we will hear anything before that, but I applied for LPN to RN part time

That sounds like a good thing!!

I have a feeling that your acceptances won't actually be until June.  I only say that because I was in a zoom meeting for the respiratory program and they were saying that they are trying to get out nursing, radiology, and RT ASAP but it was looking more like June realistically. 

So keep stalking your degree works because that will change before you receive your letter.    Best of luck to everyone!!

Hi,

Did they mention in your info session when the LPN to RN applicants would be notified?  I am doing the full time ASN and they mentioned mid-April.  My last audit was done on March 30th.

they did not, if they did I missed that.....maybe you will find out this week!

It looks like the LPN-RN program had a later deadline than the RN program (LPN-RN deadline was 4/1 and RN deadline was Feb 1). I wouldn’t be surprised if it takes them until June for the LPN-RN notifications. (Hope that makes sense.)

They told me LPN-RN part-time applicants can expect to hear back in June ?

for the LPN to RN if you are currently in classes do they wait for those grades for the rubric

I'm not sure. It's definitely possible considering a definite number of spots available to LPNs will be updated by end of Spring semester. Massasoit is notorious for only counting classes taken by application deadline - but that's for FT Day option.

How is everyone handling acceptance deadlines for other schools? I have a deadline coming up but I'm not sure I'm going to hear back from MCC in time!

My second choice is CCCC, May 1st is seat deposit deadline. If I don’t hear from Massasoit by then I’ll pay the deposit. How about you?
