I take my NCLEX tomorrow and am wondering how long it takes for your license to pop up on the mass.gov site? I went to school in RI and know they can see their license on the website (department of health) in less than 24 hours, as short as 4 hours, after finishing the exam. Wondering if Mass is as efficient in uploading licenses as RI is. Thanks!

Not sure. Did you ask Google? I'm sure the licenses get updated randomly through the week. I know PA updates a handful of licenses a couple times a week and the timer had nothing to do with when I finished. Mine was updated the next morning at 6am and I had completed the test at 9pm the night before. But obv your question was for mass. Hopefully not long! You can always do the Pearson Vue trick if you can't wait long. It has a very high accuracy. Good luck!

Hey! I also just took the NCLEX in mass (feb 13th). Did you figure out how long until your license was posted?? I'm anxious to get my results
Looks like we are in the same boat, I took mine this morning at 8am. I have chatted with a few of my friends who took the boards last year for MA and they have all said they found out in about 24 hours, 48 hours at the latest. So I would check tomorrow! I hope your exam went well!
Ladies, try the PVT trick. I'm a big supporter of it. From what I've seen it's completely accurate. Completely. If you can't wait for your results. Good luck!
Okay thank you!! And hope yours did too!!
Tried it and got the good pop up!!

Hi everyone,
I'm also in the same boat and took the test today. My test shut off at 75 and I got the good pop up an hour after the test. I'm really nervous though as I don't feel I did well. I'm hoping the PVT works! Good luck to everyone.

We have 48 hr quick results here in MA. In the meantime, you can do the PVT as it has been very accurate for both myself and fellow classmates. When we graduated (June 2017) it took around 2 weeks for actual license but might be faster now.
Best of luck!!
Just wanted to post an update for future nurses who take the NCLEX for a Mass license. I took my exam on a Tuesday, got my quick results on Thursday, and my license was posted on the mass.gov website that Friday!
I personally did not use the PVT, I had heard that Pearson caught on and it was not as reliable. Not to mention what an awful way to find out you failed than being charged $250+ haha. I chose to wait! Seems like people have had success with it, so it seems like a viable option still!

The PVT is NOT accurate. I took the NCLEX on Friday, March 9th. Like many, I wanted to know how I did so I used the PVT trick 3 times after the exam. Each time PVT was more than willing to take my $$ again. I was so angry a myself, embarrassed for failing so badly because my exam ended early on the 85th question, which meant I did horrible.
I had to make sure so after 48 hours (required for Quick Results) I paid the $7.95. I am glad I did because staring right in front of me was the word "PASS". I literally jumped up from my chair and had a well deserved Victory freakout.. The dog thought I was nuts, bolted from the room and was weary of me for a few hours after. Since I'm neurotic, I have checked each day since to make sure it still says PASS and it has.. It was an awesome feeling and I hope everyone who has suffered through Nursing school experiences it.
To sum it all up.. Using the PVT Trick 3 times, I was shown that I FAILED. So, IMO the PVT is NOT ACCURATE. My humble advice is to wait 48 hours and pay the $8. Quick results ARE 100% Accurate.. Good Luck to All !!!

What do you mean by it was willing to take your $$? Did it charge you and then you found out you passed? Because unless you actually put your credit card info in and went through the entire process (including hitting send at the end) then the pvt wasn't followed through completely.
For the trick to have not been accurate, your card would have been charged $200 and then 48hrs you did quick results to find you passed. It sounds to me that you got to the screen where you are asked to enter cc info and stopped there. A card must be entered, hit send, and then you find out.
Congratulations on passing!
