I wonder how long we have to keep this going.

I don't see a time coming when masks are not required in all hospitals and health care offices. It's just not ever going to be worth the risk to employers.

Local Dr offices in my area don't require them. Hospitals do in general population areas, in private rooms, no

As soon as the CDC said we could take them off my hospital stopped requiring them last year and I took mine off.  So while I didn't mind I guess I did get mask fatigue after two years.  This is Florida and we don't do masks here.  LOL

There still are quite a bit of people that are wearing them but the majority of us don't.  My vet's office doesn't require them, but my dentist does.  I'm not sure if my primary care doctor requires them but I go next month and will see.  Last year he did.

I caught covid last July for the first time and was mildly sick, and this was after I stopped wearing a mask.  I also had a mild case of the flu a month ago.  So there is that.

My job still has the staff masked but it's hard I get sob, hyperventilate and when I'm in full conversation it slips down.  Not to mention it falls off completely. But after all that I still feel safer especially when people are coughing or have bad breathe

Wow, I guess I live in an area of the country that is more restrictive than some of you. Every hospital in my state still requires masks for everyone, visitor, patient or staff, in all common areas. For those of us that are staff, we wear them all the time, except in designated break areas while eating. Patients can take them off in the rooms, but not in any hallways/common areas.

I haven't encountered any Dr offices yet that aren't requiring them still, but maybe that's coming.

Our management has said that it's not worth the risk of having patients or staff potentially contract illness that could then be considered the fault of the facility. It's a CYA policy at this point, but I guess most of the facilities in my state is just going to go with that.
