I bought one. It pushes the mask out so that I have gaps, can't use it, defeats the purpose of wearing a mask. I hope that you're having better luck
I hook it inside the mask pleats and make sure I really mold the nose piece on my nose and so far its helping! Sorry it didn't work for you I wonder if they have different makes?

If masks are still required next year, I'll be contributing to the nursing shortage.
I'm fatigued.

Not me. I like to eat and have a roof over my head. Way too far off from retirement. If not, I'd be right with you!

Not sure but looks the same as the one I tossed. Cost was about $15 for 3

I bought one and it makes the air really hot in my mask. I trimmed alot of the plastic away and it's still too hot so it's a pass for me.

does this make it rest on your cheeks vs. the bridge of your nose? I have a rib graft on my nasal bridge that was affixed right where those n95 masks press. 'hanging on by a string' through my dorsum, literally LOL I don't know how long it takes to officially 'take' but it's been less than a year and I'd rather not find out

@DMQ48 Im not wearing a respirator only a surgical mask, I’m not sure how it would work with a respirator or if thats safe. I wonder if wound care could help you out with some kind of skin protectant for the bridge of your nose? Or what about the stuff they put on the babies little cheeks in the NICU so the 02 tubing doesn't cause skin breakdown? Hang in there I know that has to be tough!

This looks very much like the device in a KN95 (made in Finland of all places) that I bought-thinks for my own protection at work since we were only getting one surgical mask a shift, and um no-I’m protecting myself. The mask was adjustable but too small for me-even though I have to wear a small for the NP5 mask-this one was considered normal size. It fit my child. Gave her a good seal but I recognized the insert because it looked like the inside of the ones I received but was a full mask built into it.
I have asthma and autoimmune issues so I have opted to work from home while my position is being put up for grabs. I have a child in online school and luckily my husband makes enough and we have plenty of savings now that it will not be a strain with me eventually being out of work while this whole pandemic is around. I couldn’t breathe in the mask, would leave with headaches that lasted for hours after removal, and then would deal with nausea and dry heaving if I didn’t take zofran to prevent it. Masks have to be worn right now for protection, but I felt suffocated after 8 hours and frequently got winded while talking-essential in nursing.
So I may be out too-just depends how long this s**t show lasts.

I'm am experiencing mask fatigue. I'm just tired of the ongoing day to day 12 hours wearing a mask. I wonder how long we have to keep this going.
