Hi,
I'm applying to Marymount university's traditional BSN program for next spring (application is due this summer). I have around a 3.0 GPA and am taking the TEAS soon but I have great recommendations and volunteer work. I'm very nervous my GPA will hurt me and I won't get in. Can anyone tell me their stats and if they got in or not? I'm thinking if I don't get in I'll retake a couple classes and apply for the accelerated program so I can hopefully graduate around the same time. So any advice you guys can give me on admissions at Marymount would be amazing! Thank you!!
Hm.. I'm not exactly sure. From what I've seen they only have two pathways- traditional and second degree accelerated. Im in the traditional program so I'm not sure about the TEAS requirement for the second degree program but you can always email or call them! They're extremely helpful with all this stuff.
Yeah I am from Haymarket! Are you transferring from NOVA? And did you go to bhs?? Don't worry about being too late to apply! If you're taking the teas a month before you'll be fine. You get your results immediately so that's not a problem at all. I would just make sure you have everything else for your application done early so you can be sure it's all done on time and you don't miss it! If you need any help with anything let me know :-)
Hey bharvey,
I m also looking to submit my application to marymounts accelerated program but for fall 2018, i do need little help with the personal statement, i would appreciate it if u r able to help. Please let me know.my email: [email protected]
@bharveyy I'm SO sorry about the late reply, school is crazy! I'm transfering from NOVA, yes! And I went to Patriot because I lived closer to Bristow at the time. Did you start at MU yet? Do you like it so far? I have all my app supplies turned in but I'm worried my personal statement wasn't that good and now I'm terrified for the TEAS because tests like that scare me!
