Marquette Direct Entry MSN 2012

Published

Hi! Any Marquette hopefuls this app. cycle? I'm a little ahead of the game here but am too excited not to be =0) I'm applying to the CNM track!

thanks! the hardest part about this is the wait...it would just be nice to start planning if I am going to be accepted. If not, I need to look ahead and plan for attending Bellin. it's scary that these programs are starting so soon and I still don't know what I'm doing!

March 16th for me as well.

I'm turning down my offer of admission in favor of my #1 school - I was the one who got my offer of admission later than the first round but before the 2nd round so hopefully this opens up another position asap!

Best of luck to everyone - hang in there!

Thanks for letting us know Clovette! Congrats on getting into your #1!

I have never posted, but have been creeping on this board for a while. I just got an email of acceptance & just wanted to say "hi" to all my future classmates! I'm beyond excited right now! For everyone else still waiting...hang in there. I know the wait is excruciating!

Welcome jp and congrats! Where are you from/age?

Thank you! I'm 24, I'll turn 25 the day before classes start :) I'm from Wisconsin, I currently live about 20 minutes north of Milwaukee and am actually working just a couple of blocks away from Marquette's campus - so no relocating for me! One question I have is how everyone is planning on paying tuition. Has everyone applied for federal loans already? Will that cover all of tuition/living expenses?

lol I'm 25 next month and from about 20min north of Milwaukee! Small world!

For stafford federal loans (subsidized only for this summer) we are eligible for about 16,000 (summer tuition is 10,000). fill out fafsa, and then submit the summer finanical aid form on marquette's website after you register for classes. i'm not quite sure when we will be credited our loans though!

For fall 2012, spring/summer 2013, we are eligible for 20,500 in federal stafford loans (now unsubsidized as of fall 2012). the rest we need to take out in grad plus (can get up to about 25,000) or privated loans

Congrats jpflieger! I hope I get to announce my acceptance soon as well. I'm so nervous! I want this so badly..

I just received my acceptance email!!! I am so incredibly happy!!!!

Congrats uwbadger!!!!!!

Thank you!!! :)
