as for previous posts regarding the volunteer thing and abused nurses... you made your point guys. however, with the current situation, few voices is not enough. this is a big issue. am not saying am a pro nurse volunteer, heck no! doing your ideas will take a lot of courage, power and determination. we need someone who has that passion for this.
as for the mvmc requirements, here's the list:

****be sure to pass complete requirements or your efforts will be put to waste....****
hope it helped. and for those who had their experience with mvmc, kindly share it. thanks!
just one question... what if my bls training certificate has expired? I'm hesitant on renewing my bls because the last time I acquired my bls, it was all for nothing because no hospital hired me.
much better if you'll call the office. however, i doubt if they'll entertain you with expired BLS. just try to put yourself in their shoes. if you were the employer and i am the applicant and am going to present you an expired training, will you accept me? you are not alone in this situation. mine will expire this September. we are just few of those around 600,000 nurses who have the challenge. be patient enough. if you think you already exerted effort more than what is being asked of you, think again. it's good to sometimes vent out our sentiments, especially with the career path we've chosen. but hospitals won't care at all. :) in the end it's still your choice.
@juella: when did you pass the board? when did you last inquire about your board certificate? do you the number in prc where we can call to inquire about it?
I took the boards june 2009. I inquired 1st or 2nd week of January 2010. What's available is November 2008 board certificate. According to those i spoke with, it will take about 6 months to 1 year to have the said certificate. Likewise, man from window 17 in PRC told me to call too. As for the number, kindly PM me. We are not allowed to post phone numbers here....
