Maricopa Waiting List / Placement / Timestamps 2010+

Published

Hey everyone, I wanted to start a place for people to post and repost about waitlist times, placement runs, and their timestamps.

It is very hard searching for all the information and maybe people will access this thread and keep it updated with information so we all can get some idea on where we stand in line for Maricopa Nursing Placement.

As for me I have a

6/11/10 8:01:32 Timestamp. The placement just ran on March 6th,2012 and I was not placed. On the application website it says that the placement did NOT reach the June timestamps. This will mark 5 semesters that I was not placed (was expecting a 3 semester wait)

I am curious how far the placement ran. If people that were placed during the last placement run (3/6/12) come across this thread and would be willing to post their timestamp and what school choice number (1 through 5) they were placed in that would give an indicator how far away it is.

With almost 2500 people still on the waiting list it looks like it can be a 4-5 year wait for people just now getting on it. :(

Look forward to chatting with all of you and good luck.

I got placed SCC spring 15 cant remember my exact timestamp.02/03/2013 SCC was my 1st choice.

I decided to defer until Fall Semester. I sent in my deferral today for SCC. Hoping to get night/weekend program in the Fall!

We could be classmates :)

hang in there, I know you're probably tired of hearing the "it will be worth the wait" statements cause I sure am...no one understands the agony of wanting this so much like your fellow future classmates...I'm just hanging on to my faith that everything will fall into place with the right timing. When everything is all said and done, we will have worked very hard for what we accomplished!

Thanks for the encouragement! I'm starting to feel content in waiting another semester and trusting that the timing will work out right for my family and I when I do get placed in an evening/weekend program. But I know I will just want to kick myself so hard for not changing my choices if you or anyone near our timestamps gets placed in one of the replacement runs for a night/evening program. Of course I would be excited for you though!

I've been searching to see if anyone who did get accepted in one of the 3 evening/weekend programs can give an idea of where the date/time stamp was left off....I know the last update on the app page said a dozen or so for Dec 2012 were not placed. Tomorrow is going to be another long day :dead:

Got my letter today! Surprise surprise, I wasn't expecting my letter until Fall 2015, or Spring 2016. But, I got my 3rd choice, MCC hybrid late start! My time date stamp was 8/2013 8:01:01 or something like that!!! Holy cow, I can't believe this really is happening!!

I got excepted for spring 2015 SCC TRAD. Time stamp 6/7/13 8:02

Wow! Basically a one year wait for you to get accepted, that's awesome!

I got my second choice, Glendale evening…I already accepted placement, faxed the form back and I am so ready to get this thing started!

I have another thread on here because I've heard some conflicting things about the Glendale evening program about it being hybrid or not. When you start next semester would you be so kind as to come back and update if it is hybrid? I know someone in it right now that says it is, that she has to do lectures online in her own time and know that material on her own and in classes they go over other things as well. I'm curious because I'd love the evening and weekend hours but not so sure about the online part/learning new concepts on my own!! If it is hybrid I'd be curious for other opinions on how much of it is hybrid and how difficult it is. I am used to online classes but I worry about that for nursing and having to teach myself something brand new.
