Which Hospital do you work at?

Yes I am willing to relocate in western part of the US. We have no control over our perceptorship and I didn't get placed in the NICU. We have 4 large NICUs but Phoenix is super competitive and most hospitals now want a BSN or at least enrolled. Which I am enrolled. I guess I'm just reaching out to network and if anyone has any advice on how to get noticed by hiring managers. My background is as a medical assistant. The only experience I have had in the NICU is when I did a rotation at St.Joesph and PCH.

Hi I'm a new grad in the Phoenix area. I am very interested in the NICU. How would a new grad get the opportunity to work in the NICU? When should I start applying for jobs? I probably won't take the NCLEX until January. Ill start ASU online for my BSN in March of 17. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you

I'm thinking about taking psy230 over the summer while I'm not in nursing school.. Is Rio Salado online the way to go? If so with what instructor? And any advice?

Can anyone give me any advice. Im thinking about taking psy230 through Rio Salado. Is it easy? I'm not the best at math. Is there anyone in particular I should take it with?

Thanks. I did receive my book advance but like you said at the book store it would be about a 1,000 which Thats not what I got from the book advance! So I was worried. I'll look into Amazon and the other sites. Thanks again.. :)

Does anyone know how much books cost for block 1 @ SCC. Is anyone else having trouble with the book advance?

Yes you do. I don't remember them saying anything about the color.

I would call. I'm attending SCC. I got the background code on my status page and received a letter stating the dates for the registion session. Which is this Monday 27th and tues The letter also included the health documentation check list.

Hi I just joined, but I have been reading this thread for awhile to get information. So happy for those that got placed for spring 2015. I was hoping that maybe I would be placed too. My timestamp is 6/13 8:02 so I know I have a slim chance. Does anyone have any idea on how many placements they typical do per semester?
