The only difference is the Chem (ASU) vs Patho class(GCU) requirement. GCU needs chemistry as well, but you need the pathophysiology too. I was planning on applying to ASU but the advisor made me nervous and I didn't think I would get into ASU with 85-86 (I'm not positive my points are at 86.66 because I haven't asked a GCU advisor for sure yet, could be lower)... So last minute I switched with GCU. I'm not mad about my decision because I used to attend that university. However, I was scared that ASU would be too competitive for me to get in. Best of luck this round!! I hope you get into ASU! ?

Hi! Just wanted to point out that we’re not “competing” for a spot at a University, we’re competing for a spot at an MCC. ? so without an acceptance from a community college we won’t get to start with a University.

I decided to not retake the HESI due to my work situtation just did not have time to study. MCC, SCC, and CGCC are all about 20min away from me. Does anyone know how they go about selecting students? like do they just take every applicant who applied and just seat them in order from highest points ? For example 2000 students apply they put the scores in order no matter what school they want and then they just place those students or is by school? Has anyone turned in their application recently at any of these schools? would you know how many people so far have applied? I cant turn my application in until the 27th because of work but im very anxious. I know i am on the lower point side trying to stay positive though. Does not seem like a lot of people this round are posting on here compared to other rounds.

I want to choose mcc as 1st choice, scc 2nd and gwcc 3rd. My question is can I choose mcc am only without choosing the pm . Because the pm will not be convenient for me and mcc is closer to where I live compared to the other schools.

You can choose am and put NA for pm. While it's not convient that could be a factor on not getting placed if am fills up and only pm is left and you chose to forego it.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but what I got from the CEP website is they place everyone's info in a spreadsheet and they sort students by school. They look at overall points but if you and another person have the same score then they may have an additional layer to sorting them (in the past it was by application date, not sure if it's changed)

There is no definitive way to know how many applied to each school.

thank you for the info on how they likely place students, I did not realize that time stamp was a factor in the equation even though it makes sense.

Hi

is this your first time applying?

Good luck!

Yes, this is my first time. I am super nervous. The wait is incredibly difficult. What about you?

Thank you for the clarification. I finally submitted my application today. I'm praying that I will be accepted
