After I sent my acceptance to MCC, they emailed me a confirmation and told me that a "welcome packet" with more information will be emailed on April 1. I have not hear anything from NAU yet.

Still have not gotten a letter ? I emailed SCC first week and the advisor has not responded. I work during the day so I cant go in and ask about the application. I did see that 2nd round started so I am guessing I calculated my points wrong somehow or maybe they missed my degree. We shall see 2 weeks left but I am not freaking out like I was at the beginning. thank you to all who have prayed for me ?

yes and they put 3.43 which originally I was told 3.42 so that made me happy. I do not see where I calculated wrong just frustrating seeing people who got in with lower points then me to the same school I applied to in the same order. of course they could have calculated incorrectly as well. I emailed I believe the district to see if they would possibly tell me anything regarding my points. did anyone who had a degree turn in a copy of the degree or did you just use the transcript?

I did not apply to this program but it sounds like they made a mistake in the calculation of your points. I do know that if people know someone on the committee they will get in even if they don’t have the same GPA and what not. It’s not fair but I know a girl at the UA who did that

@KCLSEA Thank you!

@Cactuslover thank you for the insight I hope that isn't the case though.

I just submitted my transcripts

I really think it’s irresponsible to spread misinformation about something you likely know nothing about. UA is not a part of this program. If you didn’t apply to this program then stop putting fear in people’s minds because it’s incredibly unfair and not welcome.

UofA is not affiliated with this program.

Also, I hope that info isn’t true. That’d be sad to see someone passed over just because someone else knew someone.

LOL I’m sorry that you don’t know how the world works. I looked into all of the requirements for this program and have been following this feed. If you know a person on the committee or donate money you can get into any program. You are incredibly rude and the best of luck to you on your nursing endeavors

I was using the UA as an example. Any program can be bought into and or exceptions are made for those who know someone or for certain circumstances. My professor at Pima was on the committee for Pima and the Sierra vista program before. He is no longer on the committee
