Just wanted to start a thread for Marian University CRNA program hopefuls to help share information. I applied a few weeks ago and got an email saying the application is with the admissions committee and to expect an email about a potential interview in the next 4 weeks. Good luck everyone!

I think other classes have started facebook groups so everyone could connect and talk. I just made one so maybe we can get others in our class to join?
For the people who got in, is anyone willing to share their general stats? I interviewed Oct 26 and haven't heard back yet. I have 1.5 years in level I trauma MICU, I am chair of my nursing professional governance council, and have a 4.0 GPA. I also have got an A in grad level biochemistry and I am currently taking Marian's DNP Biostats course. I also have published nursing research. I thought my stats were good but since I haven't heard back I'm getting concerned!
You should be super proud of yourself.
My stats: 3.35 undergrad GPA, 3.67 graduate level GPA ( I was originally in FNP school and took the first 4 courses including patho and pharm)
unit council/shared governance/charge/preceptor and lots of volunteer experience within my network and I was involved in a study at university of cinci earlier this year.
4 years neuro ICU experience with 1 year within my experience being agency at a mixed ICU, all level II.
Keep your head up, I was denied by another school before I got accepted here, and they didn't even bother interviewing me.

Thank you for sharing! Congratulations on getting in! Your stats are amazing. I'm sure you're excited to begin this next stage of your life!

Did you mention all of this during your interview? I feel like I froze and blacked out and couldn't bring even half of what's on my resume to the forefront of my mind when they were asking ?
