Marian University (MU) CRNA 2024 Start

Published

Just wanted to start a thread for Marian University CRNA program hopefuls to help share information. I applied a few weeks ago and got an email saying the application is with the admissions committee and to expect an email about a potential interview in the next 4 weeks.  Good luck everyone!

If you're familiar with CRNA prep school academy, there was someone who wrote that they did not get an interview, but because they reached out and essentially said "hey I'm really excited about the opportunity to interview, are you still going through applications?" the faculty decided to interview them and I believe resulted in admission but I can't be sure.

I emailed them the day after my interview (I should have the day of, but nerves).

Who knows if this is what helped their decision as if you scroll through this feed my stats aren't as strong as others, but if they sense your passion and grit this is always helpful.

I emailed them but did not get a response. I feel like that is not a good sign.

I interviewed at the beginning of the month, eagerly waiting for a response

You think I should email and ask for an update? I'm just not sure what I would say. And bio stats so far isn't bad, I'm doing the 5-week online accelerated course. It's a little heavy on the assignments but not bad!

Besides the being heavy on assignments, how many quizzes and exams are required?

Just got the call! Marian class of 2027 here I come.

I reached out to (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) today and this is the response I got. Hopefully there is still some good news to be had.

"Thank you for asking about the status of your application. The committee is in the interview phase, with invitations still being distributed for the month of November.  While the admission committee has released a few early decisions, the majority are expected to be finalized in early December.  Please continue to watch your email for updates.”

I got something along those lines from (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) as well.  I was wondering who they emailed and didn't get a response from.

Hello everyone!

Hope all is well! I interviewed today and I feel like the interview went well, but I scored a 12/20 on the test. I guess I'm part of the 12/20 club too! There were 3 other candidates there today as well who interviewed plus 5 from this morning. I believe tomorrow (11/21) could be the last day for interviews because it was one of the last days listed on my invite. Now, time for me to play the waiting game ?.  Best of wishes to everyone!
