aint sure if there is already an existing march 2011 test takers' support group. nonetheless, i ought to just create one.. study tips and advices, as well as encouragement, motivation, support, and prayers from each and everyone of us may play a big role in our preparation for this battle. let's all be rn's!! good luck to us!! may the good lord be with us all in our way to passing the nclex!! :cheers:

I took my nclex yesterday with 265 questions for 5 hours... It was a horrible experienced... A lot of SATA about 25 - 30 and a lot of prioritization, infection control and delegations...and about 5 drug calculations...I'm afraid to check the PVT... I'm just hoping and praying that good things will happen thru GOD's grace! Goodluck to us!!!

Aaargh! My turn in 6 DAYS (March 10th)! Just finished Kaplan last night. (Did anyone else find it boring?) I scored OK on the readiness test but my Qbank questions are all over the place, ranging from 50-80%! Saunders seems much better for content, but Kaplan good for Qs. I qualified ago in England, US system completely different! Is anyone else doing March 10th???

If I hadn't just graduated before starting Kaplan, I would've loved all the content. I love all the questions and the decision tree though. It makes me feel a lot more confident about my answers. I'm still doing trainers and q bank, but those don't bug me. I'm going to start with the readiness test and trainer #4 once I wake up, and tackle some more qbank. I've only been doing the bank during down time at work - my scores are in the low 60s, but I'm taking those on no sleep so I figure I should get a couple more points for that lol

I'm on March 15th, so not long after you!

Congrats to those who have aced it - our percentage is pretty good this month, so far :up:

Good luck dontra07. What a horrible test! At least the fact that you kept getting questions means that you were still in the running. Lots of people say they passed after doing the full 265. Will be thinking of you & keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I'm so sorry to hear that your test didn't go so well. Just keep it in your mind that you are a nurse no matter what and don't let this make you give up. I'm feeling nervous myself.. i will be taking the nclex on wednesday and now i'm even more nervous. God willing we will all get our license.

Seriously, huh? I am not sure how I would have gotten through the last weeks, being obbsessed with testing. It helped so much to know there were others in the thick of it. Everyone else I know has already tested.

It felt so good to wake up this morning and have it out of the way!

It really helps me to have the online community since I trained in England years ago & don't have anyone around who went to nursing school with me, or who's taking the test with me. I keep checking the site for new comments - having the community is a morale booster!:)

ok so i thought i would just schedule the nclex for tomorrow thinking i would get up this morning and cancel it, but i woke up around 9 am. so i logged on to pearson vue to reschedule the test date and it said.. your test date can not be rescheduled because there is less than 24 hours.. it was written in red and it was the first thing i saw. now what!!!! :madface: do i just go and possibly fail it or should i lose my 200 dollars and just not show. I am so freaking out right now i feel like i have to vomit... i am so dead :smackingf i do not want to wait another 3 months to take it again.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PRAY FOR ME!!! ONLY GOD CAN GET ME THROUGH THIS!

Take some deep breaths and get yourself focused. You can't reschedule so there's no point in stressing on that point. You need to get calm! I wouldn't just no show - that's a lot of money to waste! You have to at least try :up:

y r u trying to reschedule ur test? I say just go in and take it. Your never going to feel prepared.
