aint sure if there is already an existing march 2011 test takers' support group. nonetheless, i ought to just create one.. study tips and advices, as well as encouragement, motivation, support, and prayers from each and everyone of us may play a big role in our preparation for this battle. let's all be rn's!! good luck to us!! may the good lord be with us all in our way to passing the nclex!!

Hi guys, I passed! Didn't try the trick, so I waited for my name to appear in the BRN site, if it will. But God is good, my name was up there! Goodluck to all, spreading prayers too!

hi xoxox... congratulations :yeah::yeah::yeah:... any tips/advice you want to share??? will b taking nclex soon....:heartbeat:heartbeat:heartbeat

Specializes in ICU/CCU.

Thanks everyone for the kudos. Now to wait for the official results!:monkeydance:

yani and nurse bound... don't try to stress yourselves out about feeling like you need to pass at 75. Go in with the attitude that the exam is 265 questions no matter what. When it cuts off sooner, it's just a bonus.:lol2: If it doesn't then you won't be as stressed out once it hits 76 because you've prepared brain for 265. As your going through the test you should be able to get an idea of how your doing with getting more and more alt. style questions. I had 19. By the time I was on question 15 I had already had 8 SATA! Just try to relax and stay positive. Don't let thoughts of failing even creep into your head. Before going into the computer room take a minute and go to the restroom and look at yourself in the mirror and say "I will PASS this test today!" "I will BE an RN!" Trust me, it will help. Good luck to everyone taking it this coming week, you'll do great.!

:ancong!: Hotflashn and xoxoxo!!!!!! Can you believe it, we're RNs!

I will believe it when I see it. Hopefully soon. For now, I am acting like I passed because I need a break! If I didn't and I am heartbroken later, I will be heartbroken later. For now, it is celebration time.

Took the NCLEX this morning at 8 am. 75 questions. 19 alternative style questions (16 SATA, 1 dosage calc, 1 audio, 1 place in order). Soooooo, nervous after the test. Did the PVT trick when I got home and got the GOOD POP UP!!!!!!:monkeydance::anpom::hpygrp: Thank you father in heaven for helping me through this and thank you to everyone on allnurses that gave words of encouragement and inspiration. Good luck to all that have yet to take the NCLEX. To those of you that weren't as lucky, keep your heads up. You are intellegent. If you weren't you wouldn't have been able to graduate nursing school. Keep the faith you will pass! Good luck and God bless!

What are the SATA questions? My test is Monday March 7 at 8am!!! Congratulations to you!!

:dancgrp:congrats!!! that's wonderful .. i take my nclex on 3/8/2011. hope that i am successful as you . i am really nervous about the sata questions ... i rarely get them right and have been getting maybe 2 out of 5 entire questions correct on an average. any suggestions to attack those types of questions???

Hotflash & Pooh.. oh yea! We are now one of them unemployed nurses. :) Just kidding!

To all our future nurses:

Sorry a bit late for the reply, but one thing is for sure about the NCLEX, is to know the content. I had to memorize all the common lab values & the diseases that comes with it. You also have to know your infection control information, like the "My chicken hez TB" and more.. Know how to categorize and breakdown unknown medicine names, lets say for example Captopril, make sure to know the "pril" is a suffix for a certain category and etc etc.

Just pray and believe in yourself and in HIM. He will guide you all the way.

Goodluck to us all.

Thanks, I will keep everyone posted. I love how supportive this site can be :redpinkhe
