aint sure if there is already an existing march 2011 test takers' support group. nonetheless, i ought to just create one.. study tips and advices, as well as encouragement, motivation, support, and prayers from each and everyone of us may play a big role in our preparation for this battle. let's all be rn's!! good luck to us!! may the good lord be with us all in our way to passing the nclex!!
Hi everyone. I am testing in mid-March and wish I was done already! All of my classmates are passing, mostare rocking 75 questions. That both relieves me (if they can do it, so can I) and terrifies me (what if I am the one that fails?!)I am not doing any paid review program, just the books everyone has already mentioned - Saunders, Cram, LaCharity and Davis. I bounce around and should probably be more systematic.
Good luck to everyone!
They are the same and I use the test trainer 6 & 7 alot because it has more questions and it helps to me practice to sit for that many questions which I hope I stop at 75 but anywho just be positive and you can do it. I was the first to fail in my class, but don't be embarrassed about it, actually it worked out for me that since I failed I was able to get the resources I needed from my professors to borrow without having to pay for anything.
I take it again on March 30th. DON"T give up and ALWAYS stay POSITIVE!!
Best of luck to you!

reading my notes from my review course I just completed (not Kaplan...I did one that is specific to my area, I'm from Ohio btw) and doing practice questions! During the course, I had "homework" to complete...we basically did 2,190 homework questions by the end and also did a bunch of questions during class...so wellllll over 3,000 questions. the instructors suggested that besides reviewing notes, to do at least 25 questions/day up until you take the exam.
another tip: getting the first 15 questions correct is important! they said if you find yourself doing questions and you get some of the first 15 wrong, then you're a "slow starter." do some questions in the morning, and then "when your a** is hot, go in and take your NCLEX!" - word-for-word from my instructor
also remember that you'll have 15 pilot questions, too! (meaning they won't count)
What review course did you take in Ohio? I live in Cincinnati, currently doing Kaplan online, but wish I'd known about yours.
Buszta! http://www.busztanclex.com. They also have a Facebook page.
I HIGHLY recommend. They tutor students from all over Ohio, even some students from Erie, PA.
