Have you applied? Have you heard anything? Do you have some helpful information to share?
I think I might just get the patches, order some scrubs online, and have them sewn on at the dry cleaner. I read yelp reviews and it said the scrubs at that store were cheap quality and expensive.
Is that how the program does it? They just hand out the patches? Cuz then why bother tell us about a specific uniform store? In my experience most employers are contracted with a uniform store so they're made to order, usually the employer gives you some sort of code to type in online or when you call. So far it is unclear, probably just have to call or go in.
You have to buy the patches at that store separately from the scrubs. Then they'll sew them on whatever scrubs you buy.I'll have to see, but from the reviews it didn't seem like they had a great selection/quality.
I went to buy my scrubs today. They have a list of approved scrubs. They will only patch specific ones. They will not sell the patches separately.
I was talking to my friend, who's in the radiography program at MXC, and he said they had to order their scrubs/patches from Chicago Scrubs on Roosevelt. It makes no sense that we have to get ours out in Oak Lawn...
Also, did you all notice we aren't able to register for nursing 101 until the week of August 20th? What are we supposed to tell our jobs with less than a week notice before school starts?
