Have you applied? Have you heard anything? Do you have some helpful information to share?

I applied to the LPN to RN bridge in December 2017. GPA overall 3.61, science 3.62. I'm currently waiting on them to send me approval to take the teas test. Anybody else out there waiting for approval? Hi all!

I sent them an email in december regarding my interest in applying for the bridge program but i was told that they are focusing on the rn for the spring for now.
Yes but it was an email sent out saying that they will be focusing on the lpn to rn and rn program for fall in upcoming weeks. If you have a gpa 2.75 and higher I think you should start studying for the teas.

Hi! I'm also waiting for the approval. Well after i re-send my transcripts in that they misplaced . But once that happens, hopefully next week since i've already had my transcripts mailed, i'm going to hand deliver them and get a receipt then go to their office to let them know i have everything in. Then hopefully they'll let me take the TEAS, which i def need to start studying for! Have you been approved yet?
I got an reply. I have to schedule and take the teas by may 1st. I plan to do the teas by the end of February to prepare. The earlier i do everything the earlier the decision making will be hopefully. Good luck everybody. Update us on everything!

I just finished applying for Fall 2018, but my application has to go to a committee because I had a low GPA from when I got my BA. MXC decided for 2018 that they are no longer only looking at the GPA from CCC and are going off the cumulative GPA from all schools attended. It sucks for me, because I have a pretty good GPA from just CCC. I'm hoping they actually take the letter I had to write into account to explain how I've changed as a student in the past 8 years... I took the teas in December (85 overall, 92 for reading) and got the email today that I passed the competency exam for the CNA. Fingers crossed that I get accepted!
I got the link for the Castlebranch background check on Monday, which I submitted that same day. Any ideas on what happens next? I'm so anxious about this whole process and hope I get accepted!

How was the TEAS? I'm applying and I'm so confused about what to study for!

Hey torphy87! Have you heard anything from the nursing department? Also, you said you passed your CNA. Did you have to do a separate background check? Was there any chance you could have used the same agency? Sorry for the many questions I'm just wondering. I just received the email to do my background check and was wondering if I can use the one I did from the CNA.
I know this isn't for me but I thought I'd reply cuz I think Torphy87 and I are in the same boat! You can't use the same background check company ad far as I know, you'll have to use the castle branch one, which there should've been a link included in the emailed to access it. But I've applied for fall 2018 and the last thing i heard, because I asked them when they would let us know if we got in once they received our background checks and they said theyll start reviewing for fall applicants come May 1st. So I'm just waiting for May to find out anything as I've submitted my background check a few weeks ago. So it's a waiting game now!
