Have you applied? Have you heard anything? Do you have some helpful information to share?
Yeah, you'll need to use the castlebranch link they send you.
I went to the information session (they have it every Monday) and was told the background check is the last step in applying until you get an acceptance letter. After that, you have to get drug tested and bring in person all your medical history and a copy of your CNA license.
Awe yay! Congrats! Honestly they seem so confused and like they don't know what they're talking about sometimes. I'd just do the background check they gave you and call it good cuz people there like to get their information messed up which has happened to me and it just took me longer to do what I had to do. But keep us posted if you hear anything too! Hopefully just another month before we hear if we get in!
Did anyone else get this email today:
"At this point, you have completed enough of the admissions requirements to apply to the fall 2018 Nursing program. The MXC Nursing Admissions Committee will begin making their decision on acceptance to the fall 2018 Nursing program on May 1, 2018. A letter with their decision will be sent to your student email address."
I hope this is a good sign!

Def invest in a study guide. I used the Teas V1 I believe. I also purchased practice quiz A which was very helpful, i highly recommend that. Also, for anatomy, know heart functions, like the ventricles, blood flow, know the function of a cell, hmm..i can't remember what else. Math wasn't too hard but buy a study guide/book and practice the problems until you know how to do it. I spent hours refreshing myself on the steps and I made sure I knew it well. For reading, that was kind of easy, just make sure you read what they're asking. If you buy the practice test A you'll see how to so the reading. It is long in terms of the paragraphs so read fast but efficiently. And English, get a practice boom again and review what's in there. You'll have to know parts of a sentence, what the subject is, the verb, what kind of story something is, for example, expository, etc. So my main point is practice. And practice/study enough until you think you got the hang of it. Good luck!!
