Hello! 
I wanted to create this group for those who are planning on applying for the MX nursing program. Just curious on people's thoughts on applying to the RN program

I believe the application cycle begins August 24th. Would love to get in contact with other applicants! Have you taken the TEAS already? Do you still have a prereq to complete? Lets all chat!

Also, I watched YouTube videos on the science section for people specifically helping study for the TEAS exam.

Professor Yu and Nurse Cheung on YouTube. And it's not free it's $20 but very worth it, you got this!

I just finished taking my TEAS last week and passed with an 87% overall! I studied a bunch of quizlets and signed up for this free program FutureRN joined her live sessions and seen a lot of tiktoks same account! It all was pretty smooth! I definitely recommend! I have submitted all my paperwork for castle branch just having a hard time submitting my last two documents which is the varicella repeat series and the hepatitis b 2nd action! I did finish all prerequisites as well as the bio 226/227 and I am currently in Microbiology 233. So its all just a waiting game from here 🥹

Uploading the paper is definitely a headache but keep uploading with as much info as you can and they will eventually be approved. Sometimes its taken a couple days but they are very swift with it. I hope all goes well!

The TEAS Mastery App is great for studying! They have quite a few practice tests and even practice TEAS exams.

Those are the people I messaged and never got a response. And just to be sure we don't do the TB test and drug test until after we are accepted into the program right?

It's giving me anxiety because I have done everything on my part, and I would love to be considered for the early submissions.

It's giving me anxiety because I have done everything on my part, and I would love to be considered for the early submissions.  In the older forums for the program, I saw someone else experience never having their application updated and they were denied due to it.

For the background check did you also have to do a fingerprint? I was told by a fellow student who had to do a background than also a fingerprint one . She received paperwork than printed it and had to go to a near location to do the fingerprinting and submit. Did anyone else have to do this? My castlebranch only had me print out release forms and resubmit so my background can be done and sent to malcolm.

Hmmm I only did forms. And it said my results came back with no criminal record. I wasn't asked to do any finger prints. Can anyone else clarify?

Also has your application been updated? Still literally nothing on my end. And it seems like no one is responsive.

You should go to the nursing office at MXC and have them update it. I went a couple weeks ago and asked them a few questions I had. Hopefully they update it soon.
