Hello!
I wanted to create this group for those who are planning on applying for the MX nursing program. Just curious on people's thoughts on applying to the RN program

I believe the application cycle begins August 24th. Would love to get in contact with other applicants! Have you taken the TEAS already? Do you still have a prereq to complete? Lets all chat!

Hey guys, wondering what your stats are? GPA/Did anyone take the TEAS get their scores? Hope everyone does well :)

Has anyone had their background check results marked completed?

I did my background check in September and they never updated it. I emailed the department about it this week, and they just marked it complete. And they marked me as viable candidate because I turned everything in.

The only thing I'm waiting on is for them to approve my CastleBranch documents. Hopefully soon.

How long did it take for them to respond to your email and update the application? I e-mailed the people in charge of each category this week and haven't heard anything yet.

Hello, I wanted to ask has anyone taken their TEAS and how did it go? What did you use that you feel helped you pass? I failed back in August and feeling a bit pessimistic about it, but not to mention I do feel like I played a major part in not fully preparing myself for the test. I am currently taking A&P 226 and applied for 227 for the Spring and completed a majority of the packet. I just need to pass this damn entry examine, I feel I can do it this time just need a little guidance on what material helped push some of you to achieve that, thanks in advance and hope to meet you all in the program.

Hiii guys!

I just finished taking my TEAS last week and passed with an 87% overall! I studied a bunch of quizlets and signed up for this free program FutureRN joined her live sessions and seen a lot of tiktoks same account! It all was pretty smooth! I definitely recommend! I have submitted all my paperwork for castle branch just having a hard time submitting my last two documents which is the varicella repeat series and the hepatitis b 2nd action! I Just summited the paper work today so hopefully it clears out soon. If not back to square one w those 2 papers such a headache 🥲 Anyone else having trouble with that? I also summited my background check and even called castle branch to make sure it was all good on there end bc it still says incomplete in the ccc student account. They had said they sent it over oct 24 to Malcom x so I hope it also clears out soon. I did receive an email regarding my GPA I am bellow .10 points from standard admission requirement. I was told to submit a concession letter regarding why my GPA was low at my previous college. Anyone else on the same boat? Im just hoping by the grace of god I get in to continue my education. I did finish all prerequisites as well as the bio 226/227 and I am currently in Microbiology 233. So its all just a waiting game from here 🥹

I just took the TEAS and got a 91%. PM me and I can send you detailed info on what I did to pass! Don't be discouraged. I was so scared at first and scoring low on practice tests, but I worked hard and achieved that score. It is 100% possible.

Does anyone know how to get in contact with the directors of the program? They never answer the phone, and my emails are still unanswered. I'm getting nervous.

Wow! Can you PM me what e-mail you used? I e-mailed like all three that were listed for the background check/medical stuff. I have all the requirements so it's just not making sense...

Hi RnBabeXo what stuff did you use? It didn't allow me to message you for some reason.

Yeah it won't let me message you either. Anyway, I mainly used the Mometrix book, did their practice tests. I also used the ATI app, got a 30-day subscription and they have over 2,000 questions. Also, I watched YouTube videos on the science section for people specifically helping study for the TEAS exam.
